Football Superstars - this is an unusual sport online game, unlike the usual multiplayer football manager. The main feature of Football Superstars is the level of the project - a full three-dimensional game with a modern engine and decent detail. The main gameplay difference between the new game from the old managers is that the player controls the team players are not that much of the time acting independently, and one character from the team, playing side by side with the characters of his friends against a team of live opponents. The game will be realized matches of different levels - between the teams from 3 to 11 players.

The player will have to develop your character and otachivat their own skills - reaction and the ability to quickly orient themselves in a difficult strategic situation. For successful existence in the game world will need to earn money and move from one team to another. In the game world can become a sports star, and spend large sums of money earned at their whim. In Football Superstars are not only sports, but also social elements.

In the initial stages of the game characters are not available for major championships, but he has not the teeth. The larger the team, the more chaos may occur on the playing field - each competitor may seek to score a goal, even if he should be the defender. Only after long training in the close-knit group of players the team will be successful in winning major matches. If aplayer entry-level does not always know their position on the field, the virtual team of professionals will behave no worse than the real athletes in the world championship.
To achieve serious gaming purposes must choose for themselves the best football Role - this will be difficult. Then it is necessary gradually assembling a team, picking up players on the missing positions. When eachplayer knows his role, gradually become available full matches 11 to 11 players. Rookie player must be clearly understood that in a big fight it will be called very soon - it needs hard work. With increasing experience of thecharacter will become available spectacular football tricks.Football Superstars promises to be a difficult game for fans of this great sport.
When creating the game developers have tried as far as possible away from the casual sports games, where, for example, need only time to click on one of 3-8 buttons for game action ... or worse - where all events occur in text mode. InFootball Superstars a full three-dimensional engine, where the camera is mounted about both the first-person shooters. From FPS borrowed not only the appearance, but also management - fans of shooters, probably easy to learn the movementsin the game.
Shine in the game world can be not only the skills and athletic achievements, but also an unusual appearance: the player can choose for your character memorable appearance and extravagant hairstyle. In the game a strong social component - life is boiling, not only on the football field, but also in bars and clubs where you can meet friends and discuss the latest sports news.

Far Cry 2

In Far Cry 2's chaotic world of mercenaries, gunrunners, and armed militias, you'll find yourself dropped into a dizzying web of shady clients and paper-thin alliances. All manner of names and faces are introduced during the course of the storyline, but the real star isn't anyone brandishing a smuggled weapon in search of blood diamonds; it's the daunting and awe-inspiring 50-square kilometers of African landscape that make up the game's open-world setting. Aside from providing the opportunity to soak up an amazing sunset, Far Cry 2's free-roaming terrain brilliantly harmonizes with the first-person combat. The diverse landscape and myriad environmental factors work alongside a wide assortment of weaponry to give you tremendous freedom to approach each mission. Combined with solid multiplayer, Far Cry 2's sheer breadth of action provides you with plenty of reason to stay lost in the African wilderness despite an underwhelming plot and the occasional sense of tedium in navigating from one location to another on the gargantuan map.

Far Cry 2screenshot

Far Cry 2's story is filled with potential. You're a mercenary working for a client who's sent you to an unnamed African nation engulfed in civil war, and your job is to take out a notorious arms dealer known as "The Jackal." He quickly proves to be an elusive figure, so you'll need to begin working for various warring factions that the Jackal has armed so you can trace the supply line back to your target. The two primary organizations at the heart of all this bloodshed are the militaristic UFLL and the revolutionary APR. You'll spend the bulk of the story working for these two groups, getting to know their power structures, and taking on all of the violent tasks they throw your way. Complicating things is the fact that your character has malaria, which means you'll need to occasionally play nice with the more ragtag Underground, the only group with the medical connections necessary to keep your potentially life-threatening symptoms at bay.

Each story mission can be played in multiple ways. There are 12 potential buddies randomly scattered throughout the storyline who you can befriend (nine of whom are available to choose as your silent protagonist), and they're often keen to tack on their own interests to the quests handed out by the UFLL and APR. Instead of just taking out a target, you have the option to earn extra reputation points by working alongside your buddy to first squeeze any remaining assets from the soon-to-be-deceased. This also earns you the ability to increase your level of companionship with that buddy. It's a neat reward, but it doesn't shed much light on their backgrounds. But that's par for the course; the main story is delivered in such a rushed, quick-and-dirty way that you never feel very involved in the game's overarching conflicts. The plot is less Blood Diamond than it is early Grand Theft Auto, a long roster of changing faces that Although disappointing for a single-player campaign that could easily drain more than 30 hours of your time, any shortcomings in the plot are mostly forgivable thanks to Far Cry 2's overall structure. The game is organized in a way that provides a daunting amount of freedom to explore, earn currency, and wreak havoc on the game's landscape and its denizens. It's all laid out in a manner typical of sandbox action games. Pulling out your map reveals a collection of icons that signify available missions and points of interest that you can meander toward at your own leisure. Among these are dozens of side missions that you can take on, with various forms of rewards. Delivering transit papers to trapped refugees earns you malaria medication, destroying rival convoys for gun merchants unlocks new weapons for purchase, and performing assassinations for mysterious voices at the other end of your cell phone rewards you with diamonds. You can also rough up militias stationed in small camps and turn their dwellings into your own safe houses. The side missions can feel a bit repetitive when played through in rapid succession, but they offer a great change of tempo when sprinkled throughout the main narrative. But what's most clever is how their differing rewards intermingle so wonderfully with your needs in progressing through the story: Malaria pills keep your HP and stamina up, diamonds buy you new weapons and ability upgrades, and safe houses provide temporary shelter to stock up and save your game.

Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone iSO

A lone fighter, a brash sorcerer, a hot-tempered rogue… Three warriors, brought together by an unexplainable force, must embark on a fateful journey that will continuously test their extraordinary battle skills.

A party of heroic characters that goes out on grand quests is the very bedrock of the Dungeons & Dragons experience--and, really, of all its high-fantasy ilk--and Demon Stone delivers this staple on multiple levels. The story begins years ago, when Slaad Lord Ygorl and the Githyanki General Sereka, the malevolent leaders of two powerful, destructive armies that have been fighting over the right to pillage the world of Faerûn, find themselves imprisoned in a mystical Demon Stone by a clever wizard named Blackstaff. Now jump to the present, where three individual adventurers--Rannek the fighter, Illius the sorcerer, and Zhai the rogue--find themselves allied on a battlefield rife with orcs. Each is there with his or her own agenda, though upon entering the secret chamber that houses the Demon Stone and accidentally freeing the evil antagonists, the three find that their fates are intertwined. Consequently, they embark on a quest to re-imprison Ygorl and Sereka. The story is pretty archetypal, though the inclusion of two antagonists who are also at each other's throat is a nice one, and overall, the story's delivered quite well. The game uses nice, quick cutscenes to keep the story moving, and it usually manages to do so without disrupting the flow of the action too much.

Formula 1 Challenge (2007)

New:

-22 cars (2007 graphic)
-17 tracks (+3 bonus track)
-Formation lap settings
-Hungarian language
-2007 tires
-New sounds
-New China track
-New Barcelona track
-New Fuji track
-Real pilot strength

When EA Sports' F1 series first bounded into our consciousness in 2000, it appeared as a thrilling and exacting, but somewhat flawed, strike at the reigning Formula 1 champs in Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix and Ubisoft's superb Monaco Grand Prix II. In the three short years since, developer Image Space Incorporated has tweaked the game through three revisions, the most recent of which drove this series to the top of the open-wheeled racing genre. Surely something even more exciting would arrive in the next edition. And it has, in the form of F1 Challenge '99-'02. Sadly, this excitement is somewhat tainted. Firstly, though the game is a grandiose and stunningly gorgeous affair that builds upon its already strong base by combining all four seasons from 1999 to 2002 into one neat package, it is not the huge face-lift some were expecting. Nor does it even brush upon the most recent season, 2003. Furthermore, there's little doubt that it feels like a backward-looking wrap-up--a parting shot--to a series that has unfortunately come to its fruition. And that's because it has.

F1 Challenge '99-'02 (PC) #1

F1 Challenge begins humbly, with a simple interface sporting a simple request to login with your chosen player ID. It then expands exponentially from there. Once you've entered your ID, which, thankfully, allows you to race as yourself rather than one of the game's 34 real-life F1 pilots, you have a big decision to make. Namely, you have to decide which of the last four seasons, excluding 2003, you wish to enter. To the uneducated driver, four separate seasons--each with many of the same venues and many of the same drivers, teams and cars--would mean very little. But the seasoned pro knows differently. Image Space has done a nice job in this respect, developing a unique set of parameters for each year. If a circuit has been altered, dropped, or added in the real world during those years (Hello, Indianapolis!), such changes are reflected in the game. If a driver has changed teams or a team changed sponsors or colors, you'll see it.

F1 Challenge '99-'02 (PC) #2

When you create your ID, you'll also be asked to choose a nationality, a team, and a car in which to drive. The latter is quite important, as a fast, capable machine in the real world is also just that within the game. This means by selecting something like an also-ran British American Racing entry, you'll have to perform at an even higher level if you hope to dislodge the Ferraris and McLarens from their typical podium positions.

Once through the opening rigmarole, you needn't revisit it unless you want to change teams or seasons. In the meantime, you'll want to do some driving. F1 Challenge offers a variety of choices, including single races, test days, and full season-long championships; the latter of which incorporates every test, qualifying, and warm-up session you'd find at a real F1 event. Unfortunately, EA decided to drop its informative driving school component, which certainly makes the game a more difficult proposal for newcomers. What's worse for returning veterans is the continuing exclusion of a career. Seeing that this is the grand finale of the series and an examination of four full seasons, a career or even a chance to do a little sponsorship hunting and business wheeling and dealing would seem like a natural fit. Too bad EA didn't see it that way. In F1 Challenge, you can't even campaign the four championships concurrently without starting freshly on each given season. Nor can you build a custom season or undertake a second championship without first ending your current championship.

FIFA MANAGER 08 (PC)

FIFA Manager 08 makes an excellent first impression. British gamers, in particular, will feel a warm glow when the theme song from the Grandstand TV show kicks off the welcome screen, and high production values are evident throughout the game. As with any management title, you start by choosing the domestic or international club for which you want to work. If you choose to raise a team from the ranks of the lower divisions, you'll have fewer resources and lower expectations, but if you pick a world-class club, you'll have some very serious board expectations. However, FIFA Manager 08 helps you juggle the demands of whatever club you choose by allowing you to palm off certain aspects of the running to your assistants. If your interest is in finding and cultivating talent rather than wading through spreadsheets of numbers, then your finance team is there to take care of it. Alongside this, FIFA Manager 08 places an emphasis on creating your manager rather than being the manager. You're asked how you want to look, how big you want your family to be, and what sort of hobbies you want to pursue. Learning a foreign language will help you secure a job in another country, while playing golf may enamour you to the board members of another team.

FIBA Basketball Manager 2008 (pc)

FIBA Basketball Manager 2008 has become the official game of Eurobasket 2007, the European Championships to be held in Spain in September ‘07.
You too could be playing ball with Europe’s finest as long as you engage shrewd financial and management tactics with FIBA Basketball Manager 2008. Bag the biggest sponsorship deals, woo the best players and draw in the crowds to create a wild atmosphere at the stadium.
As the manager, the team and stadium’s success is down to you! Be sure to sell out of tickets and stock the stadium’s shop with great merchandise to excite customers and bring in the cash. All this will help to pay for essential overheads such as arena upgrades, media costs and staff wages.
However, you’ll need to use your budget wisely so that you can offer your superstar players an attractive salary, and trade players between International and English teams to put together the top line up in the championships. First-rate financial management of these contracts is key; should a player get injured, they will need replacing.
Break down essential team tactics by taking your players through their moves and use one of the 3 ways; direct score, 2D view or 3D view to study the game’s result. Use the comprehensive tactics page to get the low down on killer moves that will give your team that extra edge.
Now that you have all the managerial knowledge needed to put your team courts ahead of the rest, it’s time to get out there and play ball…
